Chi Phis, at I. IJ. Two Years,Plan New Flouse
After being on campus for only two years,the Chi
Phis began to plan for their new house,which will be
constructed within two more years. Blueprints were
drawn up for a 70-man split-level house that will be
situatedon Fraternity Row.
In the fall the Chi Phi pledge classoverhauledthe
Bloomington Boys' Club. The pledgesspent more than
a month putting in a new ceiling and floor and making
two rooms out of one.
The Chi Phis were runners-up in the fraternity'
sorority division of the Homecoming displays contest
with a reproduction of a Michigan plane that had been
shot down by Fightin' Hoosiers.
"snowbound"
December 19 at
The Chi Phis were
their Ski Lodge Dance. Members of the fraternity and
their dates came dressedas a vafier1 of characterswho
might be snowbound in a mountain ski lodge. On
March 26, the Roman Floliday Dance was given complete with low tables and Latin atmosphere.
For Homecoming decorations, the Chi Phis had
the Daill Stud.ent announce a Michigan downfall.
