At a special called meeting of the Session on Monday, July 23, the Session elected a Slate Making Committee comprised of five active elders and four reserve elders. The Slate Making Committee’s purpose is to recommend nominees for the Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) to be presented to the Congregation for a vote in October. Once elected, the task of the PNC is to conduct a search for and nominate a candidate for Senior Pastor of HPPC for consideration by the Congregation. More details and information to come soon. The Kenfields serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators in helping engage the national churches in bringing the Word to the Bible-less people in the Asia/ Pacific area. They will be sharing about their ministry in the Philippines and what their next assignment will be. Lunch is $10 per person, kids under 12 eat free. No reservations necessary. Marriage Prep Course Returning This 7-week premarital course is for engaged couples and those considering engagement. The next class runs Sundays, September 9 October 21, 9-10:30 am.
