Senior Pastor Search Process
One of the first steps has been taken in the process
of calling a new Senior Pastor to HPPC. At a
special called meeting of the Session on Monday,
July 23, the Session elected a Slate Making
Committee comprised of five active elders and
four reserve elders. The Slate Making Committee’s
purpose is to recommend nominees for the Pastor
Nominating Committee (PNC) to be presented
to the Congregation for a vote in October. Once
elected, the task of the PNC is to conduct a search
for and nominate a candidate for Senior Pastor
of HPPC for consideration by the Congregation.
More details and information to come soon.
Members of the Slate Making Committee are:
Ruling Elders - Suzanne Bennett, Brian Robison,
Mark Todd, Jamie Woodley and John Walsh
Reserve Elders - Jeff Black, Gloria Box, Karen
Konker and D’Ann Moore
