From M1 South (Junction 38)

By car
From M62 (Junction 24)
–– L eave the motorway at Junction 24 onto the A629, signposted
Huddersfield. This will lead to the Huddersfield inner ring road.
Follow the signs for A629 Sheffield/A642 Wakefield.
–– On leaving the M1 motorway at Junction 38, follow the signs
for Huddersfield A637 at the exit roundabout. Continue along
the A637 for about 2 miles, going through West Bretton, until
you get to the large roundabout. Carry straight on, on the A637
signposted Huddersfield.
–– Carry on for about 4 miles, passing through the village of Flockton. At the next roundabout turn left onto the A642, signposted
Huddersfield.
–– About 2 miles after the roundabout, turn left down Rowley
Lane, signposted Penistone B6433.
–– Continue along the A629/A642 after leaving Huddersfield
town centre for approximately 3 miles, until you come to traffic
lights where the road forks left to Wakefield and right to Sheffield. Take the right hand lane (signposted Sheffield A629) and
continue for about 2 miles, gradually leaving the built up area.
–– Follow the road down the hill for about ½ mile, straight ahead
at the mini-roundabout (i.e. carrying on down the hill) and then
past a school on the right. Woodsome Park is 200 yards later
on the left and there is a sign for ‘Northern House’. If you reach
the T junction with the A629 at the bottom of the hill you have
gone too far.
–– Look for a left hand turning for the B6433, where you should
turn left into Rowley Lane. After about 200 yards take the first
right into Woodsome Park – it is signposted ‘Northern House’.
–– The entrance to Northern House is about 20 yards on the right
hand side and you will see the Capita sign. There is visitor parking on the right hand side of the building.

From M1 North and Leeds (Junction 39)
–– On leaving the M1 motorway at Junction 39, follow the signs for
Denby Dale/Huddersfield A636 (past Cedar Court Hotel on the
left-hand side).
–– Continue on the A636 for about 3 miles to the large roundabout. Take the third exit to the right onto the A637, signposted
Huddersfield. Travel for about 4 miles, passing through the
village of Flockton.
–– At the next roundabout turn left onto the A642, signposted
Huddersfield. About two miles after the roundabout, turn left
down Rowley Lane, signposted Penistone B6433.
