PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Week 6 is in the books. Be on the lookout for the interim reports coming home. You can also check School
Tool. Please contact the classroom teachers with any questions regarding grades. Some WCS students went
to SUNY Plattsburgh for the Youth Leadership Summit; exciting things are happening in technology classes,
and our music program is continuing to find success. Check out the link for more pictures, videos and
information from all the exciting happenings at WCS during week 6. Have a great weekend.
HALLOWEEN PROGRAM
This year’s Halloween Program will be held on Monday, 10/31. Please watch upcoming
Newsnotes for a complete schedule of the day’s events!
FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY RESOURCES
Thanks to the tradition of the 1st grade field trip to the Westport Library, many of our
students have public library cards. There are lots of great resources available to public library users. Students
and families who are members of any library in the CEFLS system—including Wadhams, Elizabethtown, Lewis,
Willsboro, and Essex—can access these resources, including databases, e-books, and audiobooks. See the
attached flyer for more information. You can access the public library’s audio books through our school library
page, under the tab “Audio and E-books.” Look for information about e-books available to students through
CVES School Library System in the coming weeks!
