When Katie’s teacher comes to school dressed like a
Pilgrim, a student asks, “What’s with the shorts, Mr. G.?”
Katie and her classmates are going to learn about life at
the time of the first Thanksgiving. The kids play Pilgrim
games and they take a special field trip to a reconstructed
Pilgrim village, where Katie suddenly turns into a Pilgrim!
She then encounters a second adventure in a completely
different time and place. Will Katie’s magic switcheroos
help her learn the true meaning of Thanksgiving?
