IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL PRIESTHOOD! The
Priesthood Convocation will be held October 5 and 6. Priesthood
Faithfulness is the topic with Tammy Lindle, lead for the Priesthood
Faithfulness Team, as our guest. Plan now to attend this vital
workshop to increase your understanding of Priesthood commitment
and ministry. Friday evening will feature a worship/communion
service for all, with the workshop portion on Saturday. All of this
will take place at the Kalamazoo Congregation. Plan now by
putting aside some funds for meals, transportation, and
housing. Ask your congregation to support you in the expenses for
the weekend. See who you can carpool and share a room
with. Come and learn more about intentional ministry. Registration
is open on the website under the events tab.
Fall conference is just around the corner November 3&4, 2012. It
will be held at Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw. We
want to offer youth activities but are in need of registered youth
workers to volunteer. We need 2 for elementary a.m. and 2 for p.m.,
2 for middle school a.m. and 2 for p.m. and several for nursery
throughout the day. Please contact Brenda Villeneuve

2013 Mission Center & Campground Budget Meetings:
It's that time of year to start talking about budgets for the
coming year for the Mission Center and the Michigan
Campgrounds. EVERYONE is encouraged to attend at least one of
the sessions. Many of the dates have been updated so please
disregard any other version that you may have. A reminder to
Pastors that congregations need to have a business meeting
scheduled no later than September 9 to vote on congregation
support commitments which are due no later than September 10
so if you don't already have a date scheduled, please add one to
your calendar soon. Ideally it should be scheduled at a time after
your congregation members attend one of the below sessions.
