Kids Matter – Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of West Hawaii’s wish list.
These are just a few suggestions that the children at the center need. Please check with the
center before sending items not on the list. We do not accept toy guns of any kind. All toys
and food items must be new and unopened.
TOY CLOSET ITEMS:
Barbie/Ken Dolls, Baby Dolls, Toy Cars or Trucks (Hotwheels), Coloring or Activity Books, Board Games,
Art Supplies, Puzzles, Small Stuffed Animals, Action Figures, Playdoh, Washable markers, Stickers, Art
& Craft Supplies, Character themed toys: Disney, Dora etc., Journals, Stationary, Nail Polish, Jewelry
making/Beads/Craft sets, Balls, Sports Themed Items.
EMERGENCY BACKPACK ITEMS:
Backpacks
Toiletries – travel size
$25.00 Gift cards (Target, Walmart, Kmart) to purchase needed clothing/Slippers/Flip Flops
Pajamas or oversized T-Shirts
SNACK WISH LIST:
Goldfish, Cheez-its, Pretzels, Animal Crackers, Cheese & Cracker snacks, Peanut Butter & Cracker
snacks, Granola Bars, Cereal Bars (with fruit), Pop Tarts, Applesauce Cups, Fruit Cups, Macaroni &
Cheese Cups, Juice Boxes (100% fruit preferred).
*Snacks should be in individual packets & unopened. You may also get multi-count boxes from Costco,
Target, Walmart & Kmart etc.
Help Needy Families:
Gas Cards, Food Cards such as KTA, Safeway, Choice Mart, Sack-n-Save, McDonalds, Subway, Burger
King, Jamba Juice etc.
SEASONAL DONATION PROJECTS:
February: Help a child feel loved by donating items for Valentine Day. Unopened boxes of Valentine Day
cards and fruit snacks that will be used for the kids.
April: Donate to the Pinwheel Project to raise awareness about child abuse.
July: Back to School Drive. Donate backpacks & school supplies to help kids be successful in school.
October: National Make a Difference Day, October 24. Contact us for specific projects.
November/December: Donate new Santa stockings and stocking stuffers to help make a child’s holiday
happy & bright.
