◦ Discussing possible “dog and pony show” for California League of
Cities (selling City Councils and City Managers on compliance).
◦ Tracking CSLB enforcement activities including potential
subpoenas for serial numbers.
◦ Talking with distributors about serial number tracking.
◦ New Chair nomination for Steering Committee approval: Tom
Garcia, CALBO.

◦ ResQM to review Standard 4 and compare to current IOU
programs; Marshall Hunt to present PG&E Res QM Program.
◦ CommQI to launch in September with new Chair, John Ferris, San
Diego State University.
◦ CommQM identifies (a) critical need to establish effective
maintenance “value proposition” and proof for decision-makers
based on cost avoidance, energy savings, ROI; and (b) need for
financial evaluation tools and effective presentations.
