Rio Grande River SWA (Del Norte Fishing Easements) - Rio Grande County
From Del Norte take Highway 160 west for approximately 6 miles to County Road 17. Turn north (right) towards the bridge. The designated parking area is east of the road and south of the bridge.

Fishing: Coldwater river
Recreation: River boating
Facilities: None
A. Camping is prohibited.
B. Public access is prohibited except for fishing
or boating.
Note:
Easements allows for walk-in access 25’ above
high water line, wade fishing is allowed to
middle of channel within easement boundary.
These leases are subject to change from year
to year.
Fishing (Special) Regulations:
1. Fishing is by artificial flies and lures only.
2. Bag and possession limit for brown trout is two
fish, at least 16 inches long.
3. All rainbow trout must be returned to the water
immediately.
