Music’s technical aspects are demonstrated through illuminating excerpts presented on DVD’s by an engaging lecturer. Along the way you’ll learn historical and cultural context along with fascinating biographical sketches of world famous composers–household names you might know little about–from Bach to Copland. Fifteen works will be examined and leave you longing for more. This second semester offering will feature 15 pieces different from the first semester. You need not have already taken part one.
