Container Rental Information
All customers MUST CALL to schedule
removal of the container. Containers held
for more than 7 days are billed at $15 per
day. The Container must not be overfilled,
the contents MUST BE LEVEL with no
material sticking up or out of the sides.
CONCRETE is only allowed in 10 Yard
Containers.
Prohibited Items in Containers
Liquids of any kind including
paint
 Toxics, Batteries, and Bulbs
 Food, and Kitchen Waste
 Asbestos containing materials
 Soil, Dirt, Turf, or Sand
 Yard Waste unless in an exclusive
container
 Deceased Pets, Livestock, or
Wildlife
A $100.00 FINE IS PAYABLE IF ANY
OF THE ABOVE ARE PLACED IN THE
CONTAINER

Drop Off Information
Recycle Ann Arbor’s Jackson Rd Facility takes
a wide range of items for recycling and safe
disposal. Customers should report to the
reception area prior to unloading their
material. Fees are applicable on the majority
of items and are necessary to ensure
diversion from landfill is maximized, and
items are disposed of correctly.

Extra Day Fees
All container rentals are for a period of 7
days. Containers held for more than 7 days
are subject to a $15 per day additional
rental fee.
Prohibited and Billable Items
Items placed in the containers that are listed
in the “Extra Charges” section will be billed at
our standard drop off rate for those items.
There is a $100 fine for placing any
prohibited materials in the container.
