Spherical Bearings

Spherical Bearings
High Performance Metal-to-Metal Loader Slot Bearings
For Aerospace Applications
TRUNNION BEARINGS
• Utilized extensively in landing gear applications
• Provide high load-carrying capabilities and allowance
for misalignment
• Designed for corrosive and demanding working
environments
• Produced for maximum lubrication of all critical internal
surfaces
• Allow for removal and replacement of spherical ball
- reducing downtime and lowering maintenance costs
• Materials include:
- Ball: Copper Beryllium
- Race: 17-4PH and 15-5PH
ROD ENDS AND LINKS
• Bore size range: 0.500” to 10.000”
• Designed for primary and utility actuation, engine controls,
and various other engine and airframe applications
• Used in elevated temperature environments
• Provide high load-carrying capabilities and allowance for
misalignment
• Available with internal and external thread configurations
• Manufactured with externally threaded rod ends that are
rolled for higher strength
• Allow for removal and replacement of spherical ball
- reducing downtime and lowering maintenance costs
• Materials include:
- Ball: Stellite®, Copper Beryllium, Inconel® 718 and A286
- Race: 17-4PH,15-5PH, Inconel® 718 and A286
• Bore size range: 0.125” to 2.000”

Spherical Bearings
High Performance Metal-to-Metal Split Ball Bearings
For Aerospace Applications
SPLIT BALL BEARINGS
• Used in secondary flight control systems, including leading
edge slats, trailing edge flaps, and flight control actuators
• Designed for applications with dynamic or static loads that
produce small relative motion between the ball and race
• Offer superior race to ball conformity and more resistance
to contamination
• Provide high load-carrying capabilities and allowance for
misalignment
• Manufactured with split ball that is replaceable without
removing the bearing outer race from the housing
- reducing downtime and lowering maintenance costs
• Materials include:
- Ball: Stellite®, Copper Beryllium, Inconel® 718 and A286
- Race: 17-4PH, 15-5PH, Inconel® 718 and A286
• Bore size range: 0.500” to 10.000”
