Deadline for fees to be paid in full – Cashier 947-7612
Ring/Cap/Gown deliveries during lunches:
ALL cap/gown pictures need to be taken prior to Graduation Day, May 27th.
*5/4/16 Scarlet Oaks delivery during lunch.*5/6/16 Live Oaks delivery during lunch.
Deadline for scholarship information to be submitted to guidance counselors
for the graduation commencement programs.
GEHS PROM 7:30-11:30pm @ The Oasis
After Prom immediately following midnight – 4am @ Glen Este High School
Senior Awards Night – 7pm PAC
*DRESS CODE - Seniors must wear Cap & Gown to Awards Night
Deadline for letter to principal for non-participation in graduation.
Seniors ONLY report for the designated exams on exam days.
Seniors MAY seek study assistance during non-exam bells.
Seniors are responsible for scheduling their make-up exam with their teacher if needed.

8am MANDATORY Graduation Practice @ GEHS Gym
If you do not attend practice, you may not walk in the ceremony on May 27th. Guest will not be
permitted at graduation practice. Any student removed from practice, for any reason, will not
be permitted to participate in the graduation ceremony.
PTSO Senior Picnic immediately following graduation practice.
5:00pm Glen Este High School Graduation @ the Cintas Center, Xavier University
Seniors MUST arrive by 4:00pm in the Cintas Auxiliary Gym.
No parents/guardians are permitted in the Cintas Auxiliary Gym.
Graduation Dress Code:
Ladies: Dress shoes; dress or skirt & blouse (No shorts).
Gentlemen: Solid dark shoes/socks, full length dark pants; white shirt with tie.
NO lettering, stickers, emblems or decorating on caps and gowns, no sun glasses, etc.

Non-Participation Diploma Pick Up
To pick up a diploma after June 1st, the graduate must call
Mrs. Denton at 947-7616 for an appointment.
Final Transcripts ready to be sent to colleges/universities
Please DO NOT request final transcripts ahead of time as they are not available until this date.
We will mail transcripts out to the designated college that the student has on file with the
guidance department at the end of the year.

Checklist of Do’s and Don’ts for Graduation

NO TICKETS are needed! Graduates family sizes vary greatly,
our graduates are not limited to a specific number of guest.
Seating is first come first served (exception of Booster raffled
VIP seats).

Take all pictures with your cap and gown prior to the ceremony,
you will return to the Auxiliary Gym immediately afterwards to
return your gown and receive your actual diploma.

Be at Xavier Cintas no later than 4:00pm for check-in.

Doors open for parents at 4:00pm.

Make sure you bring your cap and gown.

Make sure you bring your cords, stoles, and academic medals.

When you arrive at the Auxiliary Gym – all students will receive a
Glen Este Medal and a purple cord to wear during the ceremony.

You are NOT permitted to decorate your cap or gown, this is a
formal ceremony.

ONLY students are permitted to go into the Auxiliary Gym.

There is no place for storage of personal items, cell phones,
purses, etc. Do not bring them to the auxiliary gym.

All students will keep their cap, tassel, Glen Este Medal(s) and
purple cord.

Via Interstate 71
1. From Interstate 71 north, take Exit 5 for Dana Avenue/Montgomery Road. Follow signage to Xavier
University.
2. From Dana Avenue, turn right onto Montgomery Road.
3. Turn left onto Cleneay Avenue. Entrance to the parking lot is .3 mile on the right.
Via Interstate 75 South
1. From Interstate 75 south, take Exit 7 for State Route 562 east.
2. Use Exit 2 for U.S. Route 42/Reading Road and turn right at the end of the ramp.
3. Turn left at the third traffic signal for Victory Parkway.
4. Turn left at Dana Avenue and turn left at the first traffic signal for St. Francis Xavier Way.
5. Follow to Herald Avenue. Turn right, and then left .1 mile to the entrance to the Cintas Center.
Via Interstate 75 North and Interstate 74
1. From Interstate 75 north, take Exit 6 for Mitchell Avenue. Turn right at the base of the ramp.
2. From Interstate 74 east, take Interstate 75 north for Exit 6 for Mitchell Avenue. Turn right at the base
of the ramp.
3. Follow Mitchell Avenue to Clinton Springs Avenue. Turn left and follow to Dana Avenue.
4. Continue on Dana Avenue and turn left at the first traffic signal past Victory Parkway for St. Francis
Xavier Way.
5. Turn left and follow to Herald Avenue. Turn right, and then left .1 mile to the entrance to the Cintas
Center.
