CREDIT is an abbreviation for Construction and Real Estate – Development of Indicators for
Transparency. CREDIT is a Nordic research project that is carried out in close cooperation with the
Nordic construction sector.
The background to CREDIT is that during last decade have much work done to establish key performance
indicators for the performance of both buildings and companies within the construction and real estate
cluster. Despite these initiatives, a number of challenges remain to be addressed.
First, reflecting on the institutional settings in which benchmarking schemes operate.
Second, linking functional performance to perceived performance, linking cost to value and linking the
performance of a building to the core activities of that building.
Third, designing the actual benchmarking schemes to allow for sectoral, national or international
comparisons.

Paper, spring 2005, English:
Managing relationships and processes in a multicultural environment
By Regner Bach Hessellund
University College Vitus Bering Denmark
Abstract: As the world becomes more globalised, the number of multicultural project groups increases, for
instance groups functioning within major companies and their subsidiaries in various countries. The
project manager must possess the ability to manage groups with a variety of barriers caused by language
differences, cultural differences, and differences in attitudes, differences in values and a different faith in
authorities. One of the characteristics of multicultural team work is inefficiency, i.e. slow and imprecise
actions caused by the above mentioned barriers. I will mainly focus on and explore types of management
philosophies, tools and methods, which may be applied when working in an international environment.
Keywords: Leadership, value management, change management, human relationship management and
process management.
