1
‐None of us is selfmade
‐What if steve jobs didn’t have steve wozniak and ron wayne to found Apple
‐What if Gandhi fought for independence by himself
‐Heck what if Jesus Christ didn’t have his twelve disciples?! ‐As for myself I wouldn’t be here and able to live a life of abundance and prosperity If I didn’t have my family, my spouse, my friends and companions who carry me.
‐Most importantly, I wouldn’t have had the tools to reach personal goals ‐ like the
relationship and the job of my dreams ‐ that well if I it wasn’t for Keith Ferrazzi’s Never Eat Alone.
‐let’s get into the substance
2
‐Punkte die ich durchgehen werde und die das Buch behandelt
‐how many of you activly use networking to achieve personal goals
‐how many of you don’t ‐how many of you don’t have a clue what the heck I’m talking about

The author as well as myself strongly believe It’s all about making a difference in people’s lives. Always ask yourself how you can contribute to a person’s goals and do exactly that. You will feel like a success now as you are contributing to someones life and
mission. You will be a success later, as it all comes back eventually. And when at the
receiving end accept what is given to you and don’t be afraid to ask for a favour ‐ let
other people feel the joy of giving too.

You need to build a relationship first before you can ask something from it. The more
connected you are, the quicker and smoother you get to your goals. It’s not only about
getting more connections it’s about getting allies.
6
Building a network is easiest when you are just being yourself. Don’t try to bullshit
people or yourself, just be straight and honest about what you want and what you have
to offer. Give strangers a glimpse of your humanity and show your vulnerable side to create the opportunity for deep connections. your uniqueness is your power.

Tools to connect and keep connected
‐Use everyday activities such as eating to connect with people. The author Keith Ferrazzi recommends to never eat alone and always plan a meet up during lunch time, after hours and dinner.
‐I make dinner parties and mix new people with friends and business associates
‐another way is to invite people to join you when doing sports – like soccer, basketball, dancing 8
To meet movers and shakers join events of their interest.
Conferences, Meet Ups(like the social zebras), Musical Events and Sports Events What else? (publikum)
9
To reach a wider range of people connect with superconnectors. Collaborate on a project with them, organize events with them. And get near people who weren’t
in your reach before.
10
The networker’s habits
‐Share helpful ideas (idea summaries, forwarding articles, sharing books)
‐Introduce people who might benefit from each other
11
Keep in touch with your network and don’t just dissapear. Visit them once in a while. Connect in chats sometimes. Call each other. Share ideas.
Social media and Smartphone apps make it easy to always be pinging, even
though I got to admit that I’m not a specialist with this myself 

In your personal life be real, be yourself and have a unique point of view to things
In your professional life build expertise that differentiates you from others, that makes you invaluable.
In my jobs I always search out ways to save or make the company money and time and contribute all I got. That’s what builds irreplaceable relationships and what is the secret of letting your network work by itself,
