Built in 1850 as an Inn and Tavern by Francis Walker, the Walker House has been fully restored as a Heritage Centre for your visiting pleasure. The Walker House hosts permanent and changing exhibits of local history, and hosts many collections of photographs, memorabilia and local history books. The Walker House does not offer genealogical services, but behind it’s doors, is much of the local heritage. In the search for your roots, this is sure to be an informative stop.
