Meeting on December 2, 2007
Minutes of the Meeting Prepared by Jamie Ryan
1.
PAA Members Present: Nick Wiechart, Tim Maloney, Suzanne Swartz, Dino Guanciale,
Tom McCabe (Guest), Tim Bosko (Guest), Mike Bohus, Jamie Ryan and Colleen Sadler.
2.
Tim Maloney starts the meeting and reports on Football uniform turn-in. Discussion of
storage of equipment, and discussion of where various equipment is stored.
3.
Suzanne Swartz reports on Volleyball and discussion of transition of Commissioner
duties. They will need to buy shorts for next year.
4.
Nick discusses Baseball equipment issues.
5.
Mike Bohus reports on Basketball and use of our gym for non-sports activities. Mike
suggests that PAA have an emergency key for the gym to deal with the situation when the
gym gets locked by mistake. Mike also reports that the uniforms for the younger grades
are not in good condition, especially the smaller sizes. Discussion of buying a new
basketball for each team. The Board approves the purchase.
6.
Jamie Ryan and Colleen Sadler report that Soccer uniforms have been turned in.
7.
Dino Guanciale discusses access to the gym for Basketball games. All of the access and
egress has to be through the MPR. Games start next week. We don’t know (yet) which
leagues will be using our gym.
8.
Discussion of new scorebook and effect on our traditional staffing of having two kids
(one for scorebook, one for scoreboard at Basketball games). Now, the Diocese wants
each team to run the scorebook.
9.
Tom McCabe asks questions about a protocol for team selection/draft. Discussion
ensues.
10.
Tim Bosko introduces himself. He has a third grader and wants to get involved with PAA
and Football.
11.
The next meeting will be January 7, 2008.
