I understand that tenant painting is NOT PERMITTED.
2. Unauthorized painting is a violation of my rental contract and will be treated as such per Oregon Landlord Tenant Law.
3. All costs associated with unauthorized painting, such as, but not limited, returning all surfaces to the original move-in
condition and color, will be charged to the tenant and can be deducted from the tenant’s security deposit upon moveout.
Evergreen Property Management Painting Services:
With Evergreen Property Management approval, painting can be done by Evergreen PM Staff or an approved painting
contractor, at the tenant’s expense. The tenant must pay also pay a Painting Restoration deposit to return painted surfaces to
the properties original color upon move-out. Both expenses must be paid prior to commencement of painting. For example, if
the painting charge (materials + labor) totals $175, a $175 Painting Restoration deposit must also be paid.

Tenant must submit painting request and Home Depot Behr Premium Plus color code to Evergreen Property Management
for approval (p. 971-258-4799, mail: 22638 SE Hoffmeister Rd., Damascus, OR 97089)
Remit payment to Evergreen Property Management for painting expenses and Painting Restoration deposit.
It is the tenant’s responsibility to prepare the room for painting. Walls should be clean and all décor removed; furniture
should be moved away from the wall allowing the painters room to work.
