Chapman Suggestions for Use These flashcard templates work well as a way for your students to take notes on the Language Roots PowerPoint. They are designed to be copied as a 1page document (note that the order of the words on page 1 and page 2 are inverted for this purpose). If you copy page 1 and page 2 as a 2-sided, 1-page document, students can take notes on page 2 and then cut the notes into flashcards for studying. The root word list that includes all the definitions and examples is useful if you have special needs children in your class who cannot take notes from the PowerPoint or who need more time to do so. It’s also useful if students are absent when you give the presentation. It’s a handy summary of the lecture. Copyright © 2012 by Ellen M. Chapman
