from 10/29/2015 @ 8 a.m.–11/24/2015 @ 5 p.m. Open Enrollment booklets were mailed starting
10/23. Rates and information about changes for 2016 should be posted on UCnet as of 10/26 at

In an effort to help you understand the menu of medical plans that you can choose from during Open
Enrollment, we are pleased to offer the following Presentations and Help Desks.

Presentations for UC Employees: UC Medical Plan Overview
This presentation will provide information about all of our medical insurance options for 2016. UC
medical plan choices will be described, compared, and contrasted: Blue Shield Health Savings PPO,
Health Net Blue & Gold HMO, Kaiser Permanente HMO, UC Care PPO, Western Health Advantage
HMO, and the catastrophic plan Core Medical. Behavioral health benefits will also be
discussed. Reservations are not necessary as availability is first come, first seated.

night shifts, and for those who just can’t make it to our presentations, we intend to provide streaming

For individual counseling on UC medical plans—without an appointment—a Health Care Facilitator will
be available for walk-up service at the following times and locations during Open Enrollment. Access
to a Facilitator will be first come, first served. Due to the size of the meeting rooms, confidentiality
cannot be guaranteed.
