Last week I shared a story from our Summer
Everybody Write Day. I am pleased to share
another fantastic story start from Madelaine
Wedge (year 6) below:
Fatigued and worn out, Doreen rose with a huff
relief to catch a glimpse of an ancient worn
piece of paper. However, it wasn’t just any of
paper it was a map of the intriguing island she
was washed up on. The monstrous peak
loomed over her: as if she wanted to capture
every move she made. In the far distance she
could hear the tranquil trickling water dripping
down the damp waterfall. Cautiously, she wandered into the dense, dark, goblin infested forest.
Friday 22nd July—Zone assembly 11.00
Friday 22nd July—Term finishes at 12.00
As she crawled into the great forest, she could
sense the darkness descending across the entire island of mystery.
