The IPWEA FLEET Achievement Award recognises initiative and excellence in fleet management and raises
the profile of fleet management as a discipline.
Nominate an outstanding fleet professional.
The winner will be announced at the IPWEA Australasian Fleet Conference in Brisbane on 23 May 2017
and will receive a $5,000 prize from Repco.
Award nominees and the overall winner will also be recognised in FLEET intouch and on the IPWEA
website.
Details of the proposed award and criteria are as follows:
PURPOSE
The IPWEA FLEET Achievement Award seeks to:


Encourage initiative and performance in fleet management by recognising the achievements of an
individual and
Raise the profile of fleet management in public works.
The primary focus of the Award is on service to public works rather than on any one single event or project
or service to the Institute itself.
ELIGIBILITY
Each IPWEA FLEET member shall be invited to nominate a candidate for the Award. There is no minimum
number of years’ service associated with the award. However, the nominee must have demonstrated
initiative and contributed to fleet management in their career to date.





The Award is open to persons employed in or providing a service to fleet management.
The nominee does not need to be an IPWEA member but must be from an IPWEA FLEET program
subscribing organisation.
The nominee must accept and provide information required for the award.
Individuals cannot nominate themselves
A serving member of the IPWEA Fleet Council cannot be nominated

SUPPORTING INFORMATION
A nomination shall be supported by a detailed description addressing the selection criteria for the award.
SELECTION
The selection panel shall consist of the Chair IPWEA FLEET Council, Director IPWEA FLEET and the Manager
IPWEA FLEET.
NOMINATION PROCESS
Nominations should be presented on the nomination form for the Award and include supporting
documentation that clearly addresses the selection criteria and eligibility requirements, including any
supporting details of the candidate’s work achievements.
DEADLINE
The closing date for nominations shall be 28 April, 2017.
PRESENTATION
Nominees will be acknowledged at the IPWEA Australasian Fleet conference when the overall award
winner will be announced.
The winner will receive a $5,000 prize from Repco.
