Made from chemically resistant polypropylene and glass-clear
polymethylpentene (TPX) Azlon plastic beakers are the ideal alternative to
glass beakers in areas where the use of glass is not practical, is restricted or
forbidden.
Azlon beakers are manufactured to ISO7056* and are indelibly printed with
crisp, easy to read blue or red graduations, SPI recycling codes and maximum
safe usable temperature.
Polypropylene and polymethylpentene (TPX) beakers are autoclavable at
121ºC making them suitable for use in microbiology laboratories, tissue
culture or in other environments where sterility is required.
New to our range is a low-form Griffin beaker, similar in design to traditional
glass beakers.
Our uniquely designed classic† beakers have straight sides, making them very
stable on the bench.
Tapered beakers are stackable to reduce storage space and are available with
either printed or moulded graduations.
Where excellant chemical resistance is required we have PTFE beakers that
can also withstand temperatures up to 260ºC.
* Some sizes are supplementary to ISO7056

BPM0600P and BPM3000P are supplementary to ISO 7056.
It is NOT advisable to use PTFE beakers on a hotplate as fluorine can be emitted at high temperatures.
