The 3 main tribes of the Eastern Woodland region: Cherokee, Catawba, and Yemasee
They were different in their languages but similar in their culture and government.
They settled near rivers and streams.
The Eastern Woodland tribes were hunters/gathers, fisherman, and farmers.

lived on the coast
unlike the Cherokee
and Catawba
