STEP 1: Loosen levers. Lift and turn lever clockwise to loosen. STEP 2: Using your foot to support the bottom of the rack, firmly pull the carrier arms up and into position. STEP 3: There should be an angle of roughly 90º for a SEDAN and roughly 100º for a HATCHBACK. Once the rack is at the correct angle tighten levers again. STEP 5: Use the clear stickers provided to protect your vehicles paint before attaching hooks. Hook TOP stabilising straps into the gap between the roof and the boot of your vehicle. NOTE: Do not hook onto your spoiler 90º SEDAN 100º HATCH BACK NOTE: If you need to change the kink in the rack from a Sedan setup to a Hatch setup, you will need to do the following: • Removed levers and bolts on both sides of the arms completely. • Remove the upper arms completely and flip them over. • Reattached bolts and levers STEP 7: Hook the silver hook of the SIDE stabilising strap onto the lower bracket of your carrier (just below the tightening clamp). Then hook the black hook into the gap between the side and the boot of your vehicle. STEP 4: Position your carrier onto the boot of your vehicle. STEP 1: Loosen levers. Lift and turn lever clockwise to loosen. STEP 2: Using your foot to support the bottom of the rack, firmly pull the carrier arms up and into position. NOTE: Do not hook onto your spoiler 90º SEDAN 100º HATCH BACK STEP 6: Use the clear stickers provided to protect your vehicles paint before attaching hooks. Hook BOTTOM stabilising straps into the gap between the bumper and the boot of your vehicle. STEP 7: Hook the silver hook of the SIDE stabilising strap onto the lower bracket of your carrier (just below the tightening clamp). Then hook the black hook into the gap between the side and the boot of your vehicle. STEP 8 Pull and tighten all six stabilising straps. Your rack is now mounted and ready to carry your bicycles. WARNING: ENSURE THAT YOUR REAR WINDSCREEN WIPER IS DISENGAGED WHEN YOUR BOOT CARRIER IS FITTED. DO NOT OVERSTRETCH RUBBER BIKE CLAMPS BEWARE OF MOUNTING THIS RACK ONTO PLASTICS SPOILERS.THIS RACK MAY DAMAGE PLASTIC SPOILERS THAT CAN NOT TAKE THE WAIT OF THE RACK. WEIGHT LIMIT: 45KG (15KG PER BICYCLE) IMPORTANT: IF THE REAR NUMBER PLATE IS OBSCURED WHEN IN TRANSIT, IT IS REQUIRED BY LAW THAT A NUMBER PLATE BOARD IS USED. THESE ARE AVAILABLE FROM YOUR HOLDFAST DEALER. STEP 8 Pull and tighten all six stabilising straps. Your rack is now mounted and ready to carry your bicycles.
