a range of 4x4 Cab Chassis
TRAVELLING THE COUNTRY OR THE GLOBE...
ATW’s Global Warrior Off-Road Motorhome Conversion has
been developed predominantly to suit either the Isuzu NPS 300
or Fuso FG Canter series 4x4 trucks*. The result is an extremely
well appointed motorhome with true off-road capabilities
that can support either a couple or even a large family for
extended and remote expedition-style touring.
*Note: Conversions to suit alternative chassis
are currently under development.
Outer shell
ATW’s Global Warrior has been specifically designed so as to fit neatly behind an Isuzu NPS or Fuso FG cab
chassis without significantly adding to the original height or width. With the overall dimensions not that
different to a conventional 4wd wagon with a roofrack, it gives these vehicles the opportunity to fit down
tight bush tracks that would normally put a stop to typical 4wd motorhomes with fixed roof heights
or those on much heavier chassis.
The camper module itself has been made to the maximum allowable length that can fit on one of these
chassis with a standard wheelbase. The distinctive truncated rear shape adds approximately 500mm
of length to the internal living space. Most camper modules are shortened up to allow for fitting
of spare wheels behind the camper. The Global Warrior has the spare wheels fitted under the truncation.
This provides the largest possible living quarters available on these chassis without detracting from
offroad and aerodynamic performance.

INTERNAL FLOOR PLAN
The Global Warrior internal floor plan has been designed to maximise the available space for living and
storage, with innovative layouts for sleeping, toilet and shower areas. The comment that is made the most
upon seeing the Global Warrior in the flesh is: “There is a lot more room inside than I thought...” The front
dinette table drops to convert the lounge area to a double bed. There is also an option of fitting a large single
bed above the dinette. This option includes gas struts to enable easy lifting of the bed so that it may be stored
against the ceiling when not in use. Rear queen-size bed also fitted with gas struts so as to enable easy
access to extra large storage under. Entry stepwell converts to shower. Drain is concealed below the lower
step. Entry to the camper module is not hindered if the toilet is occupied.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STORAGE
A dedicated recovery locker that can hold a stack of 4 recovery ramps, shovels, straps etc. and a full
width rear locker that can be accessed from either side of the truck or from inside the living quarters.
Internally, there is a massive storage area under the rear bed that can be accessed easily with the aid
of gas struts. A full height pantry cupboard opposite the sink. All galley drawers utilise soft-close slides
and mechanical latches.

Marine Construction
Sprung Body Mounting System
•All external and structural panels are formed with
Infused Vinylester technology which is arguably
the most advanced and durable composite
building system available today.
•Originally designed by ATW for use on
commercial eco-tour buses used in extreme
off-road conditions. Proven and tested over
millions of kilometres.
•Compared to common steel and aluminium
panelling and even common moulded
fibreglass panels, this is the ultimate finish

Unique Truncated Rear Body Shape
Automated Roof-Lift System
•Typical 4x4 motorhome bodies are cut short to
allow for the fitting of spare wheels on the rear
wall or bumper. Truncated shape offers an extra
500mm of length in the camper floor plan and
still meets ADR Rear Axle / 60% Overhang laws.
•Greatly reduced wind drag and improved fuel
consumption. Allows the roof to retract down to
the height of the truck cabin thereby reducing
wind drag, greatly improving fuel consumption.
•Dual spare wheels are securely mounted on a
cradle and protected in recessed wells in the
body at a 45 degree angle under the truncation.
•Reduced possibility of damage from low hanging

Great Payload
•When mated to either a Isuzu NPS or FUSO FG,
a Global Warrior motorhome will typically retain
over 1250kg of payload. This allows for enough
fuel, water, food and ancillary equipment for
even the most extreme adventure... and still be
well within the safe and legal load rating (GVM)
of the chassis.
Note: Conversions to suit alternative chassis are under
development but we are currently only offering the Global
Warrior conversion for single and dual-cab versions of
the Isuzu NPS 300 and Fuso FG Canter. Whilst other 4x4
chassis may be possible, the NPS and FG models are in our
opinion, the best value and most capable trucks in their
class. With both chassis offering an enormous 4.7 metres
of length behind the cab for mounting a camper body and
both having a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 6.5 ton, they are
well suited to carrying large amounts fuel, water and other
equipment typically hauled by expedition-style vehicles. Both
these chassis are sold through dealer networks with strong
representation throughout Australia (and internationally) and
importantly, they have been proven in extreme commercial
applications over a very long period. They are the weapon of
choice for many eco-tour operators and mineral exploration
companies where remote and extended outback travel is called
for making them our first preference as a platform for our
Global Warrior motorhome conversion.

Allows the engine to heat hot water when travelling so the Webasto is not run unless the vehicle

ATW Single Wheel Conversion
• Same rim does both front and rear locations.

that the rear wheels run in the compressed wheel
tracks created by the front wheels which greatly
improves traction and performance in sand and
soft terrain.

FRONT STEP MODIFICATION
If the front Isuzu cab step is to be retained, refabricating is required so as to allow extra
clearance for the ATW Single Wheel Conversion and to allow the cab to tilt freely. The
supporting frame is remanufactured and the actual step treadplate is reduced in size.
Re-powdercoated in safety yellow or black.
ATW FLARED GUARDS TO SUIT ISUZU SINGLE CAB
Recommended for all trucks fitted with ATW Single Wheel Conversion. Approximately
50mm wider than the original Isuzu guard and reduces stones and mud being thrown
onto bodywork. All fibreglass construction.
WHEEL NUT INDICATORS
Loose wheel nuts can be quickly identified when indicator arrows point out of alignment.
Includes fitting bright yellow wheel nut indicators to all 24 wheel nuts.
ATW TOW PIN Bullbar
Includes removable heavy duty centre tow pin. Bar hinges down to allow tilting of Isuzu cab.

Available in either both pencil beam or a combination of pencil and broadbeam.
Reversing Camera
Up to 4 reverse cameras are able to be connected to the current Isuzu multi-media units
and can be supplied from Isuzu as an option with the purchase of the truck. Typical
locations are to have one mounted high on the rear of the camper body looking rearwards
and a second camera mounted low looking down at the tow point. Price is for mounting
the camera and running cable through Global Warrior body down to chassis if required.
