Extension tasks:

Times tables
Please can children practise their times tables to develop their confidence and speed of recall.
Those children who already know their times tables confidently will be expected to recall their
times tables and the inverse(e.g. How many 6s in 24).
Reading
Please can children read regularly at home and bring their reading book back into school each
day as it is used regularly during our guided reading sessions.
Mental maths test.
Try to complete this under timed conditions with someone reading the questions
aloud to you. The first 5 questions five seconds each, the next 10 questions 10
seconds each and the final 5 questions, 15 seconds each.
