USFS Rules: All vehicles in the sno-parks must display in the windshield a 2017 OR, ID or CA sno-park permit.
Any straw not contained must be “Certified Weed-Free”.
Race Notes: Mandatory drivers’ meeting for all racers will be at the Wanoga Sno-Park in the warming shelter
on each day one hour before race start.  Sled and ski teams will be segregated on each course.  Race

suggested for all participants and strongly recommended for juniors.  IFSS Accredited. For

Sat/Sun – Schedule of events: If the weather and trail conditions warrant it, all classes will be started
consecutively – all teams may be on trail at the same time.  Water and prep your dogs for racing before the

Saturday Event: An informal musher potluck held in the parking lot after the sprint races are completed. Bring
whatever food you’d like to share, and something to grill. A chair, some music, whatever you can contribute
to set the mood for the very casual “last snow race of the season” afternoon affair.
Sunday Event: A hot lunch hosted by the local snowmobile club, Central Oregon Snowbusters, will be
offered in the warming hut at the Wanoga Sno-Park immediately following the end of the sprint races.
 Cash donations accepted for lunch.  Awards ceremony will follow lunch, at approximately 12:00 PM

Bib draw for all events will be Thursday, March 2. If you cannot complete the entry form and place it in the mail
by March 1, then call or send an email to let us know you will be coming. If you cannot make this effort then
we cannot accommodate you on race day. NO EXCEPTIONS If we do not have your entry fee and signed entry
form in hand at the time of bib draw, but you have notified us of your intent to participate, your start order will
be at the back of the pack.

Derby sled dog race, hosted by Pacific Sled Dog and Skijor Association (PSDSA), and to abide by the Bachelor Butte Dog
Derby Rules as posted to the PSDSA website. I acknowledge that sled dog sports are an inherently dangerous sport in
which serious injuries to persons and dogs as well as damage to equipment can occur. I further acknowledge that I am
participating in this activity at my own risk. No abuse of dogs will be tolerated.
I understand that PSDSA is a corporation formed to advance the sport of sled dog racing, activities or events, and
that their efforts directly benefit me. In consideration of my being permitted to participate in this event, on behalf of
myself, my heirs, assigns and personal representatives, I hereby waive, release and forever discharge PSDSA and any
organization or individuals involved in organizing and/or sponsoring this race event, any involved municipalities or
public entities, and all of their employees, agents, officers, directors, attorneys, members, sponsors promoters and
affiliates whosoever from any and all liability, claim, loss, cost or expense for personal injury, death or property damage
or execution of this sled dog event, or my participation therein, even though that liability may arise out of negligence
or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above.
