Dear Parents,
We are very close to completing our soccer goal fund-raiser.
Our “goal” is to have the nets up and being used right after the
Spring vacation. Although we are close to our goal, there is still
time to make a contribution if you would like to. May 1st will
mark the beginning of Orchard’s soccer domination!
5th Grade parents—we will be having our DARE graduation on
Tuesday, May 1st at 1:35 pm in the cafeteria. We hope you
can plan to join us.
Have a great weekend; take some time to read with your
child.

Thank you to all Orchard families for helping to make this year’s Skate Night such a
huge success!! A very special thank you to Jenny Burke, our chair and her co-chairs:
Robyn Kummer, Kara Strempek and Heather Sweeny
The PTO would also like to thank of all our budding scientists and their families for their
participation in this year’s Science Fair. Thanks to Rich Kelly for his continued leadership
on this important event!
Our next PTO meeting will be Monday, May 14 at 6PM in the Art Room.
Did you know…….
…that thanks to the generosity of the Orchard School community, Skate Night
raised over $4,000 which will help fund the many activities that the PTO supports.
Did you know that the PTO allocates $275 to each teacher at Orchard to help offset
classroom supplies and curriculum materials not included in the school budget?
A BIG thank you to everyone who supported the 5th Grade Fun Day
Uno's fundraisers in March and November. We were able to raise over
$1000 towards the 5th Grade Fun Day trip.
Let’s all stay healthy—just one week to Spring Break!
