Here's to the bright
New Year, and a fond
farewell to the old;
here's to the things
that are yet to come,
and to the memories
that we hold.”
THINK TANK
January 2007
Tank and I are looking forward to the
New Year. For starters, we enjoy
watching the kids play basketball which starts earlier this year.
Additionally, we look at each New Year as an opportunity for a fresh
start. We assess our progress and plan for making each year better
than the previous year.
Tank will turn 70 (dog years) in June which is beating the odds for his
breed. It must be all that good living. Tank and I both love this
environment; we believe in taking a proactive approach to our health as
well as the health of this fitness center. We understand our reward is
your success. For the past 16 years I too have grown older, wiser, and
happier. I have been challenged. If I were not challenged I would be
somewhere else.
Improving, helping, achieving and developing lasting relationships feed
my soul. I know I cannot please everyone, but I have to try. I also am
disappointed greatly when I fail someone. I enjoy people. I have said
before; people are my greatest challenge and my greatest reward. If I
have offended, disappointed or ticked you off, I am sorry please allow
me to make it better by working with me. MY DOOR IS ALWAYS
OPEN. Your health is important to me. You may ask, why? Because this
is how I can do my part to make the world a better place. This is first
person, however, I know the entire team is here for the same or a
similar reason! Happy New Year, may it be your best.
Sincerely, Tank and Tim

The California International Marathon is a fast, net-downhill course of 26 miles 385 yards following a
historic gold-miners' route: it begins at the Folsom Dam, passes through the Sacramento suburbs into midtown Sacramento, and finishes in front of the California State Capitol.
Among the 5,000 runners were
John Brunolli 4:17:10, Leeann Lupo 4:17:50, Bette Axiak 5:18:03,
Ben Lawson 3:34:07, and Kay Crook 4:18:56
also finished their FIRST marathons in great time!
Good runs everyone!
the Pacific Masters 2006 open Water Season
The season has come to a close and the Tuolumne county aquatics Masters took Top-6 finishes!
Great job! Throughout the season these swimmers earned points by placing in the
top 10 in their age group at various races.
Ed Friel (75-79) took first, Sissy Mutzner (75-79) tied for 2nd,
Dave Harmer (55-59) and Susan White (60-64) took 3rd place,
Shelia Monaghan (55-59) and Dave Fairfield (65-69) tied for 6th place.
Impressive!
