Back to School Health Fair on Aug. 4 at Richards
District 218 will host its annual Back-to-School Health Fair on Thursday, August 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Richards High School,
10601 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn. This event includes services for residents and families with
children of ALL ages:

Free and low-cost school physicals and immunizations (provided by, among others, the Ronald
McDonald Care Mobile and St. Xavier University Health Clinic); parents MUST bring immunization
records in order for children to receive new ones.

Free school dental exams and vision screenings;

Free foot/ankle, spinal, blood pressure, bone density, stress, and body mass screens for all;

Free food, drink, and school supplies, face painting, bounce houses
for young children.

Free bus service to and from the fair
District 218 will provide free bus service to and from the fair. Here are
the bus stops and pick-up times (we will leave Richards at 1:30 p.m.):
Route 1— Route 1 - Calumet Park Village Hall, (10 a.m.); St. Isidore
Church, Blue Island, (10:10) St. Donatus Church/Blue Island, (10:15);
Revere Primary School/Blue Island (10:20); Kerr Middle School/Blue
Island (10:25); Memorial Park/Blue Island (10:30).
Route 2 - Broadway and California, Broadway and Greenwood, Broadway and Chatham; Lincoln School/Blue Island, (all 10 a.m.); Keller
Middle School/Robbins (10:10); Delta Learning Center/Robbins
(10:15); Turner School/Robbins (10:20).
