Instruction: Find 5 examples of figurative language such as similes, metaphors, personification, hyperbole, and idioms.
Note the page number. Example: Simile: “Without my glasses, I’m as blind as a bat.” (p. 5)

LITERARY LUMINARY​

Instructions: Locate and copy a significant passage from the novel. Note the page number. The passage may be
thought-provoking, funny, interesting, disturbing, powerful, etc. Include a brief explanation of why you chose this passage.
