Burntwood School Lunch Program
BW school has noticed an increase in the amount of children
with head lice. As you all know it is very contagious therefore
regular, routine head checks at home is recommended. The
school will be doing a school wide check early next week and
students with lice will be sent home for treatment. It is also
very helpful when parents/caregivers report head lice cases to
the school. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
The next 3 month lunch installment payment is due by
December 1st. Payments can be dropped off at the lunch
program (during 12-1 daily) to the Lunch Program Director:
Crystal Zdebiak or left with the school secretary.
Currently there are 5 spots available for the lunch program.
Contact Crystal if you are interested in your child attending
the lunch program or if your child is opting out of the
program.
Reminder: Once students are dismissed from school they
should leave the school grounds /playground immediately
(unless they are waiting for a ride or the bus). There is limited
supervision at this time and we strive to keep all student safe.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Please label all your children’s winter clothing to avoid mix
up. (Especially outdoor boots).
Burntwood School is a Nut Aware school. Due to
allergies…fish / nuts are not allowed in the lunch room.
Thank You for your support.

EVERYBODY IN SCHOOL EVERYDAY!
Daily attendance is important for all students. Students who attend school regularly are more engaged in learning, have a greater sense of
belonging in their communities, and are more likely to graduate.
