TO BUY STOCK

1. To search a counter for trading, key-in Stock Code or Stock name into the <Search Stock> and
then press ENTER.
2. Search results will be displayed and highlighted.
3. Click BUY button for “Normal Order”.
Or, click down arrow if you wish to select “Odd Lots order”.

Select Account or drop down arrow if you have more than 1 account.
Input Quantity of shares (Qty x 1). For example: Buy 100 shares=100 x 1 units.
Input the desired price of purchase order.
Available Trading Limit will be displayed.
System will default Validity of order to “Day”. User may drop down to select other order types
such as Good Till Date “GTD”. For details, please refer to Definition of Types of Order*.
6. Click <Send Now>.
<Order Confirmation> window pop-up for your confirmation purpose.
Click <Confirm> to confirm the purchase or click <Cancel> to cancel the purchase.

After click<Send Now> will pop-up <Trading Pin Required> window.
Key-in the Trading PIN number in the trading pin column, then click <OK>.
You can opt not to ask Trading Pin number
each time you want to perform a trade by
select (•) at “Ask for trading pin only once
per browser session.” For security
purpose, we highly recommend you to
select (•) “Always ask for trading pin.”
(*) Definition of Types of Order:
a) Day
This order is only good during the current trading day and will automatically cancel at the
end of the day if it is not executed.
b) Good Till Date (GTD)
This order is a limit order which remain valid in the market until a specified date.
Note: This order only allows you to select date up to 30 days.
c) DD/MM/YY (Day), Day
This order is only good on next trading day and will automatically cancel at the end of the
next trading day if it is not executed.
For example, if you place an order on 23/07/12 (Mon), the validity will show “24/07/12
(Tue), Day”. The order will only start to queue on 24/07/12 (Tue).
d) DD/MM/YY (Day), Good Till Date (GTD)
This order will only start active on next trading day until a specified date.
For example, if you place order on 23/07/12 (Mon), the validity will show “24/07/12 (Tue),
Day”. The order will only start to queue from 24/07/12 (Tue) until a specified date.
Note: This order only allows you to select date up to 30 days from the day it is activated.

Click <Confirm> to proceed or click <Cancel> to cancel the Sell order.

ORDER STATUS
Click <Order Status> to check all transacted trading.
To View Current Order Status:
1. Click <Trade>
2. Click <Order Status>
The <Order Status> pop-up window displayed as shown above.
(*) Definition of Order Status:
a) Order in queue. Pending to be sent to Exchange
This order is now pending to be sent to Exchange.
b) Order Confirmed
This order has been sent to Exchange and queuing for execution.
c) All Matched
This order has been fully matched at the Exchange.
d) Partially Matched
This order has been partially matched, with the matched quantity shown.
e) Order Amended
This order has been modified and pending to be sent to Exchange.
f) Order has been modified by Exchange
This modified order has been sent to Exchange and queuing for execution.
g) Order Cancelled
This order has been cancelled.

All matched and unmatched orders will be shown.

TO CANCEL ORDER
Click <Order Status> button as shown above.
1. <Order Status> window pop-up as shown above.
2. Click to highlight a Stock that you wish to cancel, then right-click and select <Cancel Order>
to proceed.
3. Optional, click to highlight a Stock that you wish to cancel, then click icon
to proceed.

To confirm that cancellation has been made, click <Order Properties> icon as shown above, then doubleclick on the stock name.

TO MODIFY ORDER
Click <Order Status> button as shown above.
All orders should be able to modify except for order with status All Matched and Order Removed from
Queue.
1. Click to highlight a Stock that you wish to modify, then right-click and select <Modify Order>
to proceed.
2. Optional, click to highlight a Stock that you wish to modify, then click icon
to proceed.

1. The <Modify Order> pop-up window displayed.
2. Type in Quantity and Price that you wish to modify.
3. Click <OK> to return to <Order Status> screen.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Any modification in Price and Increase in Quantity will result the order to be re-sent as new
queue in BURSA.

After click<OK> will pop-up <Trading Pin Required> window.

STOCK INDICATOR
Go to <Trading Hall> tab menu and select <Stock Indicator>.
A window will pop-up displaying “Symbol” and “Color” interpretation details.
