Ward No. 34
Occupying an area 232.1 hectares, the ward's most important historic building is Min Bhawan.
Another distinguished structure is the Birendra International Convention Center which is Nepal's
world-class showpiece.
The Bagmatiriver forms the ward boundary in the east and south, the road leading from Old
Baneswar to New Baneswar and Sankhamul in the west, and the old road from Baneswar to the
airport in the north. Social, economic and physical comforts are yet to be established in many
parts of the ward. Its population was 46,136 in 2001.
