La Riata Ranch Benefit Ride
La Riata Ranch, Santa Margarita
May 23, 2015 9:30 a.m. - 1:00p.m.
A social ride on the ranch that has been the host of
the CCCAHA Trail Trials. Its rolling hills have received
praise from riders as providing a quiet opportunity to
get out on a cattle ranch.
A short session of techniques for settling your horse
for a ride will begin the activities. Then an unjudged
ride on a marked trail will allow you chose your ride
distance and pace. Invite your friends for a ride
together or use the
trail as a warm up for a
competitive ride.
Return for a BBQ and social hour. It’s a chance for a
chance to mingle with club members and new riders.
Afterward have a good feeling because the surplus will
go to the local Lindamood Bell Foundation. Ride and
BBQ is $50. BBQ only is $10. Entry forms and
directions will soon be available.
