Convening a Heavenly Court

REFERENCES REGARDING APRIL 30 TO MAY 7, 2009
CALL TO FAST AND PRAY
The Following are comments and references prepared by Jody Wood as a part of
documentation for the April 30 prayer for the Nation and the call to fast and pray
until The National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 7.
The comments and references add a depth of some current specifics that are dealt
with in a more general overview in the Petition, Order, and Declaration. There are
many examples from Congress to City Councils that expose the encroachments in
this nation of the powers of darkness.
By the paragraphs in Jody’s writing are references to particular sections of the
Petition, Order and Declaration that will help you have a better understanding as
you pray for God to move on behalf of His People in this Nation.
Convening a Heavenly Court
I We begin by worshiping and aligning with Jesus as our High Priest
[See Petition section 5, section 6 and Order]
Heb 4:16; Heb. 10:19-25, Isa. 6:1-10
A. Key questions to ask
1. When do we convene a heavenly court? When we cannot
get justice in the earth realm, we petition the highest court
in heaven and on Earth.
2. Who are the defendants?
3. Which Biblical covenants need to be addressed as the
bases for the legal argument? Are rights as citizens here in
the United States.
II Present the petitions for the case
Declare who God is…. Most High God, Supreme Judge of
the Universe, the one who is Holy, Righteous, and Just. Now in
accordance with Psalm 82:1 we petition you, the Most High
God who presides over the Great Assembly and gives
judgment among the gods. We present these petitions. We
humbly present this case on behalf of each individual state.
That in accordance with your word these acts of injustices have
been committed against the citizens of name your state. [See
Petition section 5; the Order section 3.c and 5]
Furthermore, we submit before the court that Jesus Christ is the chief
cornerstone. He is our heavenly lawyer, so we petition that whatever we
might poorly argue, that He as our heavenly lawyer, our true advocate,
would correct our feeble understanding and interpretations that through the
intercessory ministry of the Holy Spirit He would correct our mistakes
before this court. [see Petition section 9; Order, section 4, section 3.(c)]
. We would present to the court these charges:
Bill of Rights is our outline, but I think it is important to bring
in our rights as citizens of Heaven.
[see Petition section 1 , section 6; see Order section 5]
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or
abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the
right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition
the government for a redress of grievances. [see Petition
section 4, section 8.d,e,f; see Order section
3.9(a),(b),(c),5]
Freedom of Religion- The ban on religious organizations is linked to the
$3.5 billion intended for "renovation of public or private college and
university facilities." The problem in the proposed stimulus bill comes from a
provision that states: "PROHIBITED USES OF FUNDS. - No funds awarded
under this section may be used for - (C) modernization, renovation, or repair
of facilities - (i) used for sectarian instruction, religious worship, or a school
or department of divinity; or (ii) in which a substantial portion of the
functions of the facilities are subsumed in a religious mission." This is an
attempt to censor religious speech and worship on school campuses across
the nation.
Hate Crime Bills - 9 bills of hate crimes from various states introduced so far.
H.R. 1592, which passed the House in 2007, does not require proof of hate
or malice at all. H.R. 1592 would make it a federal crime to commit certain
acts “because of” the victim’s “actual or perceived race, color … religion,
national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or disability” whenever the offense
is in or “affects” interstate or foreign commerce. Advocates of such
legislation argue that the definition of a federal hate crime needs to be
expanded to provide protection to all who suffer injury due to membership in
a protected class. [see Petition section 5, 6, 7,8.d,8.f,8.g; the Order section
1, 3, 5]
Conscience Clause - President Obama is prepared to rescind the
''Conscience
Clause'' - an act that protects pro-life healthcare providers
from participating in abortion procedures.
The name of the conscience law,
Weldon Amendment, PHSA Section 245, On December 18, 2008, the Bush
Administration finalized a regulation implementing the Weldon Amendment, PHSA
Section 245, and the Church Amendments. The regulation defines key statutory terms,
provides guidance for HHS grantees and other funding recipients subject to the law's
requirements, and designates the HHS Office for Civil Rights to receive and investigate
complaints of discrimination. [see Petition section 8.c, .d; see Order section 3(b); see
Order, sections 3(b), 5]
Amendment II
A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of
a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear
arms, shall not be infringed.
A new bill HR 45 the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act
of 2009. This bill if passed will make it very difficult to own arms. [see
Petition section 8.f; see Order]
Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons,
houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable
searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no
warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported
by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the
place to be searched, and the persons or things to be
seized.
BILL TO MAKE ORGANIC FARMING even home organic garden patches
ILLEGAL....HR 875....S 425
This bill will require organic farms to use specific fertilizers and poisonous insect
sprays dictated by a newly formed agency to "make sure there is no danger to the
public food supply". This will include backyard gardens that grow food only for a
family and not for sales. [see Petition section 8.e,f; see Order section 5]
From Mona- the letter by homeland security about right wing extremist
needs to be addressed.
Also the sustainable community issue.
Amendment X
The powers not delegated to the United States by the
Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are
reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today joined state Rep. Brandon Creighton and
sponsors of House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 50 in support of states’
rights under the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. HCR 50 affirms
that Texas claims sovereignty under the 10th Amendment over all
powers not otherwise granted to the federal government.
A number of recent federal proposals are not within the scope of the
federal government’s constitutionally designated powers and impede the
states’ right to govern themselves.
It also designates that all compulsory federal legislation that requires
states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties, or that requires
states to pass legislation or lose federal funding, be prohibited or repealed
[see Petition section 8.f; see Order]
We should pray that every state establishes legislation like this as well.
I suggest we end with this proclamation at every state capitol.
By the President of the United States of America.
A Proclamation.
Whereas, the Senate of the United States, devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and
just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations, has, by a
resolution, requested the President to designate and set apart a day for National prayer
and humiliation.
And whereas it is the duty of nations as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the
overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet
with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to
recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history,
that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.
And, insomuch as we know that, by His divine law, nations like individuals are subjected
to punishments and chastisements in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful
calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land, may be but a punishment, inflicted
upon us, for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a
whole People? We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have
been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers,
wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have
forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and
strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all
these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own.
Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the
necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!
It behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our
national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.
Now, therefore, in compliance with the request, and fully concurring in the views of the
Senate, I do, by this my proclamation, designate and set apart Thursday, the 30th. day of
April, 1863, as a day of national humiliation, fasting and prayer. And I do hereby request all
the People to abstain, on that day, from their ordinary secular pursuits, and to unite, at
their several places of public worship and their respective homes, in keeping the day holy
to the Lord, and devoted to the humble discharge of the religious duties proper to that
solemn occasion.
All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized
by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the Nation will be heard on high, and
answered with blessings, no less than the pardon of our national sins, and the restoration
of our now divided and suffering Country, to its former happy condition of unity and
peace.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the United States
to be affixed.
Done at the City of Washington, this thirtieth day of March, in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, and of the Independence of the United States the
eighty seventh.
By the President: Abraham Lincoln
