Mrs. Cooke wants to make hot dogs for her neighbors and family for a Veteran’s Day cookout. Hot dogs come in packs of 10 and cost $3 per package, and buns come in packs of 8 and cost $2 per package. She doesn’t like to have leftover hotdogs or buns, so she needs to buy the same number of both. How many packages of hot dogs and hot dog buns will she need to buy? How much money will it cost her to buy those packages? If she has a $50 bill to spend for food, will she have enough money for the hot dogs & buns? If she doesn’t have enough, how much more will she need? If she has enough money, how much change will she get back?
