Aims
The module is designed to introduce students to the basic structure of cell that forms the
fundamentalbasisofunicellularandmulticellularlife.Studentswillalsolearnaboutprokaryoticand
eukaryoticcells,structureandfunctionsofcellorganelles,andinternalorganizationofcells.Itwill
provide them with an understanding of the importance of cellular organization and
compartmentalization,andcellularprocesses.
