Schwartz of Building Blocks Workshops to visualize your community as you’ve never seen it before. With over 60,000 LEGO ™ building blocks at their disposal, families will be given a photograph of a specific building in Montclair to turn into a LEGO ™ model. These building models will then be placed on a 30 x 20 foot map of downtown Montclair. Suitable for families with children ages 5 – 14. Maximum four persons per group, with at least one adult per group. Space is limited to 50 families for the two-hour event and a parent or adult must accompany children. Limited to 50 families; please register early. Registration available at Aunt Jean’s Toys and Treats, 12 North Willow Street, Montclair. Registration for the event begins Friday, February 11. About the Museum The Montclair Art Museum, a notable, community-based institution with an international reputation, boasts a renowned collection of American and Native American art that uniquely highlights art making in the United States over the last three hundred years. The collection includes more than 12,000 objects: paintings, prints, original works on paper, photographs, and sculpture by American artists from the 18th century to the present, as well as traditional and contemporary Native American art and artifacts representing the cultural developments of peoples from all of the major American Indian regions.
