(AUSTIN) – Texas Lottery players can now enter winning and non-winning Powerball tickets into promotional
second-chance drawings for a chance to win one of 110 Caribbean cruise vacation packages.
“We are so excited to offer Texas Powerball players this unique opportunity to win a five-night Caribbean
cruise,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery. “The entire ship is exclusively reserved for
lottery trip winners from across the country.”
Powerball players can enter the Power Cruise™ promotion from Feb. 5 through March 29 using the serial
number printed on their Powerball tickets to collect symbols and complete game cards to earn entries. The
cruise ship will depart from Tampa, Florida in January 2018.
Texas is one of 24 U.S. lotteries to participate in the Power Cruise promotion. Each vacation package for two
includes:

Round-trip airfare for two to Florida

Deluxe hotel accommodations for two the night before the cruise departure

Ground transportation provided from airport, hotel and port

A Stateroom with all amenities for a five-night cruise to the Caribbean departing Jan. 15, 2018, with two
ports of call (Key West, Florida and Cozumel)

$250 ship credit for onboard purchases including beverages and spa treatments
Once onboard the ship, Power Cruise winners will have the opportunity to win $500 cash prizes and on the final
evening of the cruise, a $50,000 grand prize will be awarded to one of the registered trip prizewinners. Power
Cruise entertainment includes exclusive, VIP concerts from the Goo Goo Dolls, Flo Rida and Macy Kate.
To enter the promotion, Texas Lottery players must register or already be registered with the Texas Lottery Luck
Zone. Powerball winning and non-winning tickets purchased from Feb. 5 through March 29, 2017 may be
entered in the second-chance promotion using the Texas Lottery app or at txlottery.org.
