appliances. The high-quality Quadro runners take the
benefits of opening and closing safety to ovens. Quadro
also gives kitchen appliance manufacturers the new
potential for standing apart in domestic appliance design,
ergonomics and functionality.
Optimum basis: The ball-bearing principle
Quadro oven runners are based on the extremely durable
Quadro runner technology that uses the ball-bearing
principle, tried and tested in thousands of applications.
Stainless-steel balls in ultra-precision stainless-steel
profiles guarantee velvety smooth running action while
providing maximum stability.
Quadro-based telescopic systems show where their talents
lie when handling food cooking in the hot oven. The runner
systems support baking trays or oven shelves every inch
of the way, preventing cooking from rolling over as it’s
pulled out of the oven. In the extended position, turning
or basting food safely is not a problem. The smooth,
easy runner action prevents liquids from spilling over
when moving shelves in and out. As the profiles have
no openings, the slides are easy to clean. Quadro oven
runners work perfectly even at extreme temperatures up
to 300 °C (572 °F): providing gentle, quiet and controlled
running action. Kitchen buyers also enjoy the other
benefits of a Quadro runner: high working safety, maximum
convenience, optimum access as well as flexibility in
positioning the slides.
Quadro runners are designed as a product family. The
Quadro 3 partial-extension runner can take a static load
of 16 kg (35 lbs) in the home position, and the Quadro 6
over-extending runner for optimum access can even cope
with loads up to 22 kg (49 lbs). The Quadro 6 Pyro models
also stay in the oven during the pyrolysis process and can
withstand temperatures of up to 500 °C (932 °F). As an
alternative to the non-detachable FixClip, the ComfortClip
provides the capability of positioning the telescopic slides
at different levels on the side support rail by means of a
simple and secure clip mechanism.

The concept
The Quadro systems for ovens is configured precisely to meet the specific
requirements for ovens. It provides a
wide range of different options: runners
from partial to over-extending, with
various load ratings as well as brackets
in the form of the ComfortClip for
moving slides to any level in the oven
or in the form of the non-detachable
FixClip. The runners can be combined in
the oven on the side support rails and
shelves or trays interchanged on the
slides.

Latest module: Quadro 6 Pyro
The pyrolysis-resistant runner for
the oven that remains inside while
the self-cleaning pyrolysis cycle runs
through. The temperature-resistant
and food-safe lubricant specially developed by Hettich for the pyrolysis
cleaning process guarantees quiet,
smooth slide running action.

The FixClip,
attachment below the runner
The non-detachable FixClip is fixed below the slide and
provides maximum oven volume as well as identical fitted
widths – from partial to over-extension runner – allowing
oven shelves and baking trays to be interchanged at all
levels in the oven.
All that's needed to secure the FixClip is a wire fastener.
The bracket and welded joint meet the requirements on
strength. The bracket's geometry make it extremely sturdy.
The slide cannot come off unintentionally: Safety of the
highest level.

The ComfortClip
The clip's slender design wastes none of the valuable space
inside the oven compartment. It is extremely durable and
provides perfect stability.
Maximum convenience, minimal effort
Whether clipping on and off for cleaning or for moving to
a different level.
The rear hook-in bracket is
simply positioned on the side
rail. The ComfortClip is hooked into
place and engages: Clipped on.
The front fastening tab on the
ComfortClip is pressed down. At
the same time, the runner is pulled
off the side rail: Unclipped.

 Positioning baking trays and oven shelves
The oven shelves and baking trays are simply and securely positioned
on the support profile between cover cap and stop pin on the slides.
The punched stabiliser on the profile provides additional lateral stability.
Baking tray or oven shelf are just as easy to remove as they are to position. This makes it easy and safe to interchange tray or shelves and move
them to different levels in the oven whenever necessary.
