Penn Law’s Office of Communication Associate Director Emily Brennan will discuss potential payoffs
and pitfalls of lawyer social media usage. Ms. Brennan will discuss ways to harness the power of social
media to build professional profiles. Following the presentation, students will have the opportunity to
pose for a professional photo, which they can use to enhance their own professional portfolios online. The
program will also be taped if you have a class conflict.

International Career Presentation - United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)

Fernando Flores will discuss working at the UNHCR and provide insight on internships and career options
with the UN. Fernando Flores began working in the area of UN affairs in 1992. Since May 2014, Mr. Flores
has served as a Programme Associate with the Regional Representation in Washington for the UNHCR.

landscapes. Lawyer and psychotherapist Gail Cummings works with students to understand the roots of
insecurity and how to reframe negative feelings and self-doubt to feel more confident and inspire others.

New York City Bar Association panel program and reception for International LL.M. degree candidates. The program is designed to introduce
LL.M. candidates to the New York legal community and the New York City Bar, providing guidance in making their way in the legal community.
The program will be held at the Association, located at 42 West 44th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, and is scheduled to begin at 6:30
p.m., followed by a reception.
