Center at Clayton Foundation
CPIRC’S mission is to strengthen partnerships between schools
and families, and to put into practice effective parent
involvement policies and programs that increase academic
achievement for students throughout Colorado. We accomplish
our mission through our own work and the work of our partners,
which include the Colorado Parent and Child Foundation, Colorado
PTA, Families First, and Community Resources, Inc. We offer
training and technical assistance to schools/districts and parents

Student Council will be selling popsicles this Friday
during recess for 50 cents. Bring your quarters!
Kids For College
At Garnet Mesa, our staff believes in promoting college to all of
our students. In fact, GMES was one of 4 elementary schools
nationally to receive recognition last year as a College For Every
Student Distinguished School for its efforts in building college
awareness to students. Last year our staff contributed two
$500 scholarships to Delta High graduates, and we plan on doing
the same this year. In addition, much of our character education
is built upon the things that will also help students succeed in
school now and be ready for college later. We are starting our
College Shirt Fridays again, and we encourage all students
to wear a college shirt each Friday. We will keep you
informed as more Kids For College activities come up!
