Power User VDI Blade PC with 3rd Generation CoreTM i7 and i5
ClearCube® A6106D Blade PC delivers the highest datacenter-to-desktop remote
performance available in blade computers. A6106D Blade PCs provide IT
organizations with the ability to address the needs of VMware View power users
in VDI environments by utilizing the robust features of 3rd generation Intel®
Core™ i7 and i5 series processors, Intel® Q77 Express chipsets (Ivy Bridge), DDR31600 memory, PCI Express® graphics, and on-board dual Ethernet connections.
Blade PCs also provide 1:1 dedicated high performance for Centralized Desktop
Infrastructure (CDI) users for fat client use cases (legacy apps, in-house
developed apps, mission-critical apps), not possible to satisfy with virtual
desktops.
A6106D Blade PCs are specially designed with embedded PCoIP™ and GPU host
cards that host IP connections from remote desktop zero client end point
devices. Dual and Quad PCoIP™ Host Cards with 1 GB GPUs transparently
redirect USB from the desktop back to the Blade PC.
In addition, for CAD, GIS, and other graphics-intensive applications, a range of 3D
GPU configuration options include powerful dual-display NVIDIA Quadro 4000,
Quadro 2000 and similar high-performance GPU host cards integrated within
A6106D.
Ten front-removable A6106D Blade PCs fit into a 6U, A3100 chassis. Hard drives can be removed without having to
open the blade casing.
Quad Monitor over IP
A6106D Blade PCs deliver a fantastic high-end PC experience over an IP network. Connecting to ClearCube I9400series PCoIP Zero Clients, A6106D Blade PC supports up to four monitors with simultaneous full screen, full motion
video at high resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. A6106D supports the full range of ClearCube PCoIP Zero Clients.
Simple Management and Connection Brokering
A6106D Blade PCs provide full desktop performance while increasing security and manageability of assets and data.
ClearCube Sentral™ management software gives IT administrators total control of their entire centralized
infrastructure—from Blade PCs to virtual desktops—locally or remotely. The management suite provides server-level
availability (99.9% uptime) for end user computing. A6106D Blade PCs integration of Intel Active Management
Technology (AMT) 8.0 allows network administrators to remotely manage power up/down/reset, access and change
BIOS settings remotely, redirect the Blade PC’s I/O via console redirection, and perform many more security and
management functions via Out-of-Band Management.
