2016 Summer Reading Program Recap
There were 31 individual programs for
kids ages 4 through 5th grade during
this year’s summer reading program.
Total attendance was 573 kids.

Parents of children ages 4 through kindergarten checked out and read 2,920
books which was 600 more than last
year. Wow!
There were a total of 205 entries for
the YA/Adult SRP drawings. The
winners of the $25 gift cards were
Anna Allison, Wayne, and Erica Hunt,
Jerry City. The grand prize winner of
4 tickets to Cedar Point was Simon
Metzger, Wayne. Congratulations to all
the winners!
A very big thank you to the following

Fall Book Sale
Beginning
Tuesday, October 11

Three-Week Program
Donations of books, CDs, and DVDs that are in
good, usable condition will be accepted beginning
Saturday, October 1. Items that we will not
accept are previous book sale items, textbooks,
magazines, pamphlets, and encyclopedias.
Thursdays: September 8, 15, 22
5:00-6:00 p.m.
Muggles will “read together” parts of HP and the Cursed Child.
A variety of Harry Potter activities will be offered each week,
including games, challenges, and HP treats.
Participants may dress in their favorite HP costume.
Students of all ages welcome; however they:
• Should be an avid HP fan.
• Must read at a minimum 4th grade reading level.
• Must be able to attend all three weeks.
Limit of 15 maximum (8 minimum) participants.

Club
Registration for the Fall 2016 Programs
will begin Monday, August 15.
Spaces are limited and registration forms
will be available at the Library or on the website.
