Hound Ears is a 750-acre luxury resort and residential community tucked away in a valley of
the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. The guiding principal behind its
development is to provide the highest quality resort facilities in the atmosphere of a private
club.
The name “Hound Ears” was derived from a rock formation which has been an area
landmark for generations. Development of the area was begun in 1962, with the building of
the golf course, clubhouse, and other facilities. The club officially opened in 1964, and since
that time amenities have been added and expanded.
The Hound Ears Club is located between 3,300’ and 3,900’ above sea level in the heart of
the Blue Ridge Mountains in the triangle that is formed by the communities of Blowing
Rock, Boone and the Linville/Banner Elk area.
Our goal is to provide you with the highest level of personal and professional customer
service.
Should you find the need for any service not listed, please do not hesitate to call our Front
Desk.
