PROFILE
Chloe read law at Cardiff University and was awarded the Jordans Family Law Prize in
2004. She completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Centre for Professional Legal
Studies, Cardiff, achieving an 'Outstanding' grade. In her BVC year Chloe was awarded the
Cynthia Terry Scholarship from Gray's Inn.
Chloe was called in 2006 and joined Chambers as a tenant in 2007 upon successful
completion of her pupillage.
Chloe specialises in children's law, with a particular focus on Public Law care proceedings.
PRACTICE
Chloe has a thriving care practice and regularly receives instructions to represent parents,
grandparents, guardians and local authorities. Her public law practice has included cases
involving drug and alcohol abuse, neglect, domestic violence, emotional harm, sexual and
physical abuse, and children with serious medical conditions.
Chloe is regularly instructed in fact-finding hearings. She is experienced in representing
both parents and local authorities at fact finding hearings involving non-accidental bruising,
multiple fractures to infant children, and allegations of sexual abuse.
Chloe also has experience of representing parents with learning disabilities and mental
health problems, and representing the Official Solicitor in cases where parents lack

In private law proceedings Chloe is regularly instructed to advise and represent separated
parents in Contact and Residence disputes. She has extensive experience of all section 8
Children Act 1989 applications and special guardianship applications. She regularly deals
with cases involving implacable hostility and allegations of domestic violence.
