Director Biographies
Su-Mari du Bruyn has 10 years’ experience in various supply chain roles in different
industries, including petro-chemical, electronic manufacturing and financial services.
As Supply Chain Manager in the South African operation of a multinational electronic
metering company, Su-Mari was responsible for the strategic management of the supply
chain which included full responsibility for contract negotiations, supporting global
purchasing strategies, smart purchasing implementations, supplier quality assurance and
coordinating the material cost improvement plan. In addition she was responsible for
coordinating continuous improvement initiatives in a high volume electronic
manufacturing plant. Su-Mari also has extensive experience in training, staff development
and recruitment.
Su-Marí holds BComm (Human Resource Management) and BComm Hons (Logistics
Management) degrees from the University of Stellenbosch and a Post Graduate Diploma
(Management Practice) from the Graduate School of Business (University of Cape Town).
Johann Koegelenberg has more than 20 years’ experience of which 16 years were in
various roles in the South African operation of a multinational electronic metering
company, including Logistics Manager, Quality Manager and Manufacturing Operations
Manager. Prior to that, he was employed in a production optimization function in an
electricity utility company.
As Manufacturing Operations Manager, Johann was responsible for all manufacturing
operations, including Logistics, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Production,
Quality, Health & Safety and Risk Management in a high volume electronic manufacturing
facility. He has extensive experience in operations management, quality, supply chain,
industrial relations, continuous improvement, managerial finance and strategic
management. Johann gained international experience during the manufacturing
implementation of a product in India.
Johann holds a BEng (Industrial Engineering) degree from the University of Stellenbosch
and a BComm (Accounting and Business Management) degree from the University of
South Africa. He also holds a MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
Faith Williams has more than 20 years’ experience in various logistics roles in the South
African operation of a multinational electronic metering company. She also held various
administrative roles in the public sector, automotive and manufacturing industries.
Faith’s logistics experience includes time as a Stores & Stock Controller, Buyer & Planner,
Senior Buyer (including Planner & Scheduler functions) and 7 years as Logistics Manager
for a high volume electronic manufacturing facility. Faith also has extensive experience in
industrial relations.
As Logistics Manager, Faith and her team were responsible for: material planning,
supplier scheduling, inventory management, procurement, sales order entry, production
scheduling and shipping. She had overall accountability for the operational management
of the supply chain, consisting of more than 80 suppliers located both locally and abroad.
During this period Faith also occasionally acted as stand-in for the Operations Manager.
