Day 2: Montevideo, capital of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay was founded in 1726 by Bruno Mauricio de Zabala. Its
Squares, avenues and beaches, plus its architecture, history and iconic landmarks, makes it an interesting city to
explore. Visit Independence Square, Old Town, with a view of the bay and the Tower of Communications, Legislative
Palace, Batlle Park with its monument to the Carreta and Centenario Stadium, and tour the beautiful long promenade
of the city almost entirely, with a stop at the panoramic Virgilio Square. Return to hotel.

Day 3: Full day private tour, specialized guides, through two of the most important wineries in our country, we will
start the morning with a visit and wine tasting at Juanico Winery. After you will continue the journey visiting the Bouza
Bodega Boutique, where we will experience a visit with wine tasting and lunch.
Juanicó: Drive 37 km. North of the city to visit one of the vineyards and wineries leaders.
A production of 300 acres is processed in the winery, with a capacity of 750,000 gallons. The privileged land and micro
climate of Juanico helped this area to become a great place for growing grapes. The vineyards began with 50,000
plants; just over a century later, it has become a major plant growing of the best classic varieties.
The conversion process used throughout the structure of its vineyards includes an intelligent management system
based on principles of awnings organic agriculture.
The main cultivated varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc,
Colombard, Folle Blanche, Ugni Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noire, in addition to the specialty of the
house, the Tannat, a very unique strain that has won several awards recently in the European market.
Today, Uruguay has managed to get through his wines in very competitive markets, where every year gets first prizes
at various fairs and exhibitions.
After arrival at the winery, a small tour of the place and the structure of the vineyard will be made, visiting company
facilities and equipment. After enjoying the cellars and surroundings, you will be invited to a wine tasting followed by
lunch (roast sausages, various salted, ice cream and wine or mineral water).
Bouza: Bodega Bouza was born as a family business, driven by love for the field. It grew out of the hand of a
fundamental premise: working at small scale always provides better results (Bouza Bodega Boutique). It is a winery
that produces high quality wines.
It was built in 1942 along the lines of the French chateauxs by visionary Numa Pesquera. It was restored in 2002
maintaining the original concepts. Here live the essence of the old and the technology needed for an excellent modern
winemaking.
It begins with a visit to the vineyards (Tannat) surrounding the winery, explaining the management of the vines to
achieve high quality grapes. You can also explore the surrounding area such as early Melilla stream and observe the
diversity of flora and birds found at the site, or view the cars collection, 1926 Ford Model T, Ford A, Citroën 1950,
1980, 1960 Alfa Romeo Spider, or rail cars 1926 restoration among others.
After a tour of the winery and cellar with explanation of the processes carried out at the grapes, musts and wines.

Day 4: Breakfast. Regular bus ride for the day to Punta del Este
Our tour starts touring the United Nations Rambla, Av. Giannattasio, Interbalnearia Road, through the chain of
beaches and resorts that will take us to Piriapolis. One of our main resorts where we will visit its beautiful Rambla
Costanera, know the Gran Hotel Argentino and climb to Cerro San Antonio where we will have a magnificent
panoramic view. Continuing our tour to Punta Ballena with its beautiful panoramic area and where is located
Casapueblo, which was the home and studio of late famed artist Carlos Páez Vilaró, free time to visit. (Entrance not
included).
We continue our ride to get to Punta del Este, also called the Pearl of Atlantic resort of international fame. Tour of
residential neighborhoods admire the mansions and gardens that hide their famous owners, and the calm beaches and
whitewater. Our drive will take us to La Barra. Then continue to downtown to visit the port and have free time for
lunch (optional) or enjoy the beaches. Also have free time to explore the Av. Gorlero, main street and center of the
movement. In time return to your hotel in Montevideo. Accommodation
